Iris is a short film about a war veteran with PTSD who isolates himself in the Norwegian wilderness. His solitude is disrupted when he finds an injured woman, forcing him to confront his past and the choice to help her—or remain lost in isolation.
As the cinematographer I focused on natural light and expansive wide shots to emphasize his loneliness in the vast, frozen landscape of Lillehammer, Norway. With a dedicated crew, we crafted a visual story that highlights both his isolation and the weight of his past.
