The Robot Project is a social experiment through the arts of theater. The play focuses on human vs artificial intelligence and takes ethical subjects up for discussion.
The concept and idea are strongly inspired by creation myths. Any beliefs has its own definition of The Creation of Man. Tying them all together - The man comes from nothingness. 'Nothingness' is such a great concept to imagine. Therefore, one can easily compare it to the sea. It is from this idea that using the water element derived from. Water is also used and seen in religious context - in Christianity, when a child is baptist.
I wanted to play with the thought of humans being reborn as robots. We created these artificial intelligences, therefore we are apart of them? Right? Hence the tagpline: "Human reborn?"
